Working on the competitions team for Copper Mountain’s ski and snowboard was a focus on the operational side of extreme sports events. All competitions were held outside and task preformed were on skis, asking to move quickly. Safety for athletes, staff, and patrons was on the highest level of emphasis. As well as communicating different scores received by each athlete. Strategizing with the whole competitions team on each role to ensure events were managed efficiently and safely. Communicating on walkies for any last minute problems that may come up during the event.

As well as managing the set up of the event. Such as carrying down nets for the race on skis. Or setting up scaffolding for the judges stand. Working under a strict timeline in intense environments. Continuing communications with the US Ski Team and other well know ski and snowboard athletes.
